Bailey Breedlove claims she was kicked out of a Half-dozen Flags amusement park because her shorts were "too short."

A adult female has gone viral on social media subsequently claiming she was kicked out of an entertainment park because her shorts were as well curt.

Recently, Bailey Breedlove was visiting Borderland City Six Flags amusement park with her boyfriend and family in Oklahoma City, Okla. when she was approached by a security guard and asked to leave.

Co-ordinate to Breedlove, her family had been enjoying the park for 2 and one-half hours when a park police officeholder "yelled" at her 11-twelvemonth-old daughter for going downhill on her skate shoes. Breedlove claims a female person park security baby-sit began to follow her before grabbing her shoulder to inform her that her shorts were "too brusque."

Breedlove shared a video recorded during the incident in which 2 security guards asking her for identification, while her girl appears visibly upset. Equally Breedlove and her family unit exited the premises, the officeholder demanded to see her identification, accused her of criminal trespassing, and banned her from returning to any Half dozen Flags locations for the adjacent five year

"I committed no crime," Breedlove wrote to Facebook and Instagram.

The "traumatizing" incident was specially difficult for Breedlove because she is autistic and required her beau'south aid to talk to the officers.

Breedlove claims the park's managing director began "body shaming" her and said she "needed to go and purchase new shorts."

"They wouldn't provide the states with badge numbers and I was terrified I was well-nigh to go to jail over a pair of shorts. Your officers had my 11-year-quondam daughter crying hysterically thinking her mother was about to exist arrested," Breedlove said to the park in her public post. "Your policies are vague and confusing and the way you body shame and discriminate is unlawful. I paid a lot of money at your park for our family vacation and I believe I deserve a refund for the trauma caused to my family over a pair of shorts on a hot twenty-four hours."

Her decision to speak out against the theme park has been met with support — and has raised concern over 6 Flags' policies.

"I hope your family is able to go a reversal and amends from the 6 Flags park and an offer to try to repair the damage they did to your family on that twenty-four hour period," one person commented. "It really sucks that the 'rent a cop' went beyond their rights."

"Sue the f—- out of them just for that rent a cop putting their hands on you lonely. Get all their money and then let's become to Disney World," wrote another.

"In that location is literally a promo ad on their [Six Flags] Facebook folio featuring a woman in a swimsuit," one person pointed out. "How is a swimsuit OK merely shorts are bad?"

"Completely sexist policy," someone chimed in.

"Welcome to Oklahoma, where information technology's legal to walk around with your breasts out and an ounce of gas stuffed down your pants, yet when you show a footling too much leg, someone just has to get and sexualize information technology," another wrote.

While 6 Flags' policy does not state anything specifically about shorts, information technology does enforce a "family-friendly" dress code.

"In keeping with our family-friendly environment and for prophylactic reasons, Six Flags enforces a apparel code. Proper attire must be worn in the Park at all times, including shirts and advisable footwear," their website reads. "Tattoos or wearable with offensive language or graphics are not permitted at whatsoever time. Examples of clothing not permitted are those which display profanity, pornography, graphic violence, support of drugs or drug use, gang symbols, and promoting discrimination against any grouping...park access may be denied if clothing or tattoos are deemed to be inappropriate past management."

"Instead, she responded with profanity and offensive comport, including further exposing her buttocks. The invitee was ejected from the park later on she refused to stop her unruly and offensive behaviour, targeted at the police and other park guests.
